Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases

Honiture Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum: Mapping & Lidar Navigation bases make robot vacuums worth the price, especially for those with large homes. This means you don't need to empty the bin more than once every time you run. It makes your floors more clean and it will run more often.

Its Lidar navigation does a great job of mapping and you can use the app to set zones and cleaning schedules. It did not avoid objects such as furniture legs or shoes, as well as the Q Revo and j7.

1. iRobot Combo J7+

The Combo J7+ is iRobot's first robot mop and vacuum. It is a re-imagining of the iRobot j7 robotic vacuum and adds a tiny reservoir of water, a robot arm that raises and lowers mopping pads, as well as some new sensors. The result is a capable two-in one cleaner that we discovered to be superior to non-mopping robotic vacuums.

The Combo J7+ does not have the additional smart mopping features found in our top pick, however it still does an excellent job of cleaning. It comes with a highly efficient brush roll that is effective on both hard floors and carpeted rooms. It is able to easily slide between furniture and rugs, even on steep staircases. It has a powerful suction that we found impressive, though it's not as powerful as the iRobot Roomba's 694.

The Combo J7+ stands out from other robot vacuums because of its mopping feature, which uses an oscillating brush to scrub the floors. SmartScrub is the feature iRobot refers to, and it emulates the way that a mop would scrub a floor. The iRobot App allows you to enable it on an individual basis for each room.

The J7 Plus is simple to set up and use just like other iRobot Robots. It's also simple to maintain. The dust bin as well as the water tank can be removed for easy cleaning. The iRobot App allows you to watch instructional videos that demonstrate how to maintain the different elements of the machine. For example, replacing the mopping pad, or filtering the water tank.

The only real drawback is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mops if you have mopping pads attached and the 210 ml water tank is full. If either of those is missing, it vacuums. The iRobot App allows you to monitor the tank's water level and send alerts when it is low.

2. Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is an affordable robot that does an excellent job at mopping and vacuuming. Its mopping performance, especially considering the price, is impressive. It can be used to mop carpets and hard floors and picks up fine to large particles (think hair tangles Kitty litter, cereals of all sizes). It is also great at cleaning up messes, spills and stains. It also cleans stairs and other difficult-to-get-stuck areas well.

The mopping system utilizes the rotating pad to scrub your floors with water to lift dirt and grime on stuck-on spots. The pad is also thoroughly dried with 45 minutes of warm air following every cleaning, which helps prevent mold and unpleasant odors. You can control the robot via the Roborock app or your voice to begin mopping and change settings.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also top-of-the-line. It is equipped with an efficient vacuum and a high-efficiency filter which captures all types of debris, from fine to large. The only downside is that it does not perform as well against pet hair on carpet. After two cleaning sessions at maximum power, 10% of pet hair was still on the test surface. This isn't unheard of.

The Q Revo is a top-quality product, thanks to its superior navigation and obstacle avoidance. It also has superb mopping and cleaning capabilities. It's not as effective as the higher-end robot mop and vacuum, but it is still an excellent option for anyone who is on a budget. It also charges up to 30% faster than the previous models and is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This is a lot of convenience for not a whole lot of money. Read our full review of the Roborock Q Revo to get more details and to determine if it's right for you.

3. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube is a vacuum mop robot that operates well and has excellent features at a affordable cost. The setup process is simple and takes only five minutes. After taking off the tape for manufacturing and protective plastic, a quick scan of the QR code in the app starts you off. The app is intuitive and walks you through the process in a simple manner. Once configured the Cube is now ready to begin mapping and cleaning.

The app lets you modify your home's layout and design maps that the robot can follow. The app can also divide rooms into smaller sections to better target your requirements. You can make an outline of the kitchen, and another one for the living room. The robot will then vacuum the floors at different times in each room.

The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots that I've tested. It is an industrial look. Its base station features a more modular design than other robots, featuring the dirty-water tank and autoempty feature on one end, and the vacuum on the other. The mop pads that are reusable are also separate. They are inserted into the top of the robot and are attached to a handle on the front, making it simple to remove and refill.

The vacuum performs as well as any other robot I've tested and has two side brushes in addition to the single brush in the majority of models. This improves the coverage of the vacuum and makes it less likely to loose debris around walls and furniture. However, it does have some issues with the detection of objects and a tendency to move full speed into objects, like a tassel rug in my office.

4. iRobot Braava Jet m6

The iRobot Braava Jet m6 robot mop is a good choice for maintaining your hard floors. It does an excellent job and keeps them looking fantastic. It can't do the vacuuming work of other hybrids listed here and doesn't transition onto carpet or rugs like they can, but it comes with an extended battery life and smart mopping features. It is a good option to maintain your floors in a smaller to mid-sized home.

It works in dry sweeping mode as well cleaning up to 1000 square feet at a single charge. It's also able to map your floor plan using the iRobot app and clean rooms in a series using compatible Roomba vacuums.

In wet mopping, the m6 makes use of precision sprays to dampen the floors in straight lines. It's fascinating to observe and it was able to remove even the toughest dried-in juice and coffee stains on my floors. It is possible to set it up to use less water or more than the maximum amount set by the app.

The iRobot App is among the most user-friendly on the market. It makes it simple to sync with your home wifi. It's packed with user-friendly features like scheduling, partitioning rooms and creating zones that don't allow you a precise control over your machine. It also lets you check how much battery power remains so that you can get an accurate idea of how long it's left before having to be recharged and docked. The m6 is available at My Robot Centre for PS499 in the UK and at the iRobot Store in the US for $399, and on Amazon (where the m6 is currently on sale). It is available in white and graphite.

5. Shark RV2610WA

It's no secret that vacuum and mop robots are a great way to keep your home tidy without having to lift a finger but they also have hefty prices. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop with XL HEPA bagless self emptying robot vacuum-Empty Base which we've reviewed here costs $699 / PS559 / about AU$1,054. Forgo the charging base and you'll still need to shell out $549 or PS395 / around $775 AUD.

Shark RV2610WA can be a great option for anyone who is looking for a machine that is able to do both vacuuming as well as mopping. It can deep remove stubborn stains with the stain-lifting product included in the package. The app lets you program the machine to clean at a particular time and date. It also comes with a smart feature which allows you to control your robot even when you're away.

The Shark vacuum cleaner is good in vacuuming and is able to take care of most debris. However, it's not as efficient on carpets. It's not difficult for pet hair to be caught in the brushroll and its dirt bin can fill up quickly. It's got a few components that require regular maintenance and replacement. This can result in ongoing costs.

The iRobot Combo J7 Plus offers superior performance on carpets that are not bare and with high pile. It's more durable, has a bigger dustbin, and can maneuver over obstacles like electrical cords more easily. The iRobot cleaner is more expensive, but it's worth it if you want an all-purpose vacuum that will accomplish both tasks effortlessly.
